What to expect:
For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit nerve-wracking.We are an informal church and accept people as they are.Whether you choose to come in a suit or jeans that is fine by us.
Our Services:
Our services vary from week to week, depending on who is leading or preaching, but include all or some of the following.
Worship is led by piano, guitars and drums, and consisting of modern and traditional hymns; prayer and intersession, a children's or all age activity, Bible verses and readings, intimations and a birthday spot!
Before the sermon, children and youth leave to attend their own age-specific groups.
There is a creche facility for the youngest church members and visitors.
All Sunday School leaders and creche supervisors have full disclosure from Disclosure Scotland.
Our service finishes about 12.45pm, and is followed by tea and coffee.
Is it just Sundays?
Being a Christian is not just about going to church on Sundays. Catterline Community Church is active all week long. To encourage us further in our faith there are regular midweek opportunities to meet for Bible study, prayer, or link up with other church groups. These often meet in someone's house or another church. See the diary page for information on forthcoming events.
From time to time Catterline Community Church hosts an Alpha Course. If you are interested in joining our next course to discover more about the Christian faith, please contact the Church Office
