Our Pastors
We are led by Pastors Byron and Elaine McKibben and supported by a leadership group who meet regularly for prayer and to discuss the life of the church. Every member of our church family plays an important part in the life and work of the church from the youngest to the oldest. We appreciate and encourage everyone's contribution.

Lay Pastor
Elaine has Pastoral responsibility for the church in a lay capacity. She has a theological degree and is a trained teacher. In addition she is trained in Personal Centred Counselling (Aberdeen University), Spiritual Accompaniment (Ignatian Spirituality Centre, Glasgow), Living Wisdom counselling (David Riddell, www.livingwisdom.co.nz). She provides counselling and spiritual accompaniment to anyone who requires support and encouragement. Elaine also works with local primary schools providing spiritual, emotional and mental health teaching.

Byron is an ordained Pastor who works in the church in a lay capacity. He provides oversight and leadership to the church as he seeks to serve God’s people in Catterline and works closely with Elaine as they pastor the church together. He is also part of the teaching team and the worship groups in CCC.
